Great product, invisible to buyers
Kentucky Heritage Hemp has what most of the industry claims and few can prove: USDA certified organic, seed to extract, from their own family farm through their own cGMP lab. The problem was reach. The brands and formulators who buy bulk CBD and CBG already have suppliers, and they weren't going to stumble onto a family farm in Kentucky on their own.
Hemp is also exactly the kind of industry where most agencies won't touch outbound. We've been running cold email in cannabis and regulated markets for years. This is our lane.
What we built
Working alongside Pisgah Peaks Ventures, we built a custom list of wholesale buyers: brands, formulators, and white-label producers who actually purchase bulk cannabinoids. Dedicated sending infrastructure, verified contacts, and copy that leads with what makes KHH different. Organic certification and full farm-to-lab traceability.
The first six weeks
Month one: 2,278 buyers contacted, 96 replies, a 4.5% reply rate. Six weeks in, more than 30 buyers have raised their hand, including founders and executives at national CBD brands asking for samples, pricing, and supply calls.
New replies land on the sheet every week, and a second campaign is already in the works.
